Life is in the details
A recent brand shoot with Avionaut, a Polish brand of car seats was all about capturing the details that makes their products stand out.
The brief
Avionaut came to us with a brief to capture some of their new and existing products in a more “British” way. Being a Polish brand, a lot of their existing imagery was captured in Poland but as their place in the UK market grew, they need images that reflected their audience and the places that they lived, worked and played in.
Avionaut’s products take inspiration from the aviation industry. Safety and quality comes above all else and it was important that we captured this; showing important details, safety features and product longevity.
The locations
We needed to capture both cityscapes and countryside so our first shoot took place on the canalside in a local village. With old mill buildings in the background, gently moving water and a couple of ducks joining in, this was the quintessential British outdoors. Using models, we showcased the comfort, versatility and quality of Avionaut’s Sirius pushchair.
Changing it up, we captured stills and video of the Stardust car seats in situ, in both rear and forward facing positions to demonstrate the suitability of the seat for different age ranges. Finally, we headed back to the studio to grab some stills of the Stardust and Pixel Pro car seats against a neutral background.
For the second day of shooting, we headed to Wakefield for a more urban landscape and to capture the Sirius travel system. For this shoot, we used a newborn model to showcase both the carrycot and the Pixel Pro car seat on the base. We also demonstrated the baby in the Pixel Pro car seat with newborn insert, in the car.
Throughout both shoots, we demonstrated important details like the pram being put together and taken apart; the pram being put into the boot, the car seat being installed on the stroller base and the models being fastened into the car seat.
“One of the real highlights this year was managing a shoot with the insanely talented Not Another Social to support two major product launches”
